My photograph - The Old Truck was accepted into a competition held at the Pump House Regional Art Center. The event is called "Exposure: Words from Images" where photographs were juried for the competition and then writers were juried and selected to write a poem or short story depicting the photograph.
The writer for my image is Matt Cashion and the reception will be held on October 1st at 6:00 where the images will be displayed while the writer reads their piece. The awards will be made at the end of the evening.
My entry for the Gypsy Challenge is entitled "When I am an old gypsy..." has been sent in to do her best.
Turning 60 this year I wanted to create a doll with an older theme in purple and red.
She's on her way to the Houston Quilt Show where the dolls will be held on display.
